Itinerary
Day 1 - Buenos Aires
Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. At the agreed time, departure for the City Tour, going along Avenida 9 de Julio, passing by the Colon Theatre, the Obelisk and Avenida de Mayo. We continue through the Congress, Plaza de Mayo, and the neighbourhoods of La Boca, San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Retiro, Palermo and Recoleta. The tour ends in Puerto Madero. Accommodation.
Day 2 - Buenos Aires
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for personal activities. In the evening we will have the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic Tango Show. Includes transfers to and from the hotel, dinner and drinks, the show. Accommodation.
Day 3 - Buenos Aires - Salta
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. At appropriate time transfer to the airport to take the flight to Salta. Arrival, reception and transfer to the Hotel. The city of Salta, known as "Salta la Linda", is one of the Argentinean cities that has preserved the colonial architectural heritage. We will make a city tour visiting the most attractive places of the city: Cathedral Basilica, Cultural Centre of the Americas, Historical Museum of the North (Cabildo), Minor Basilica of San Francisco, San Bernardo Convent, Monument to Güemes, ascent Cerro San Bernardo and its panoramic view of the city, Visit to the summer village San Lorenzo in the outskirts of the city with its subtropical microclimate and the Handicraft Market. Return to the hotel and accommodation.
Day 4 - Salta - Cafayate
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure on excursion to Cafayate. The tour starts in the Lerma Valley crossing tobacco fields and villages of colonial architecture. We will enter the Quebrada del Rio Las Conchas where the curious formations eroded by the wind and water will be the main attraction: the dunes, the toad, the bishop, the devil's throat, the castles, the amphitheatre, among others. Arriving at Cafayate, a city internationally renowned for its wines, especially Torrontés, which can be tasted during visits to its wineries. We return to Salta by the same route, but with a completely different sunlight whose illumination will change the landscape in the ravine completely. Night in Salta. Overnight stay.
Day 5 - San Antonio de los cobres - Salinas grandes - Purmamarca
Breakfast at the hotel. Tour parallel to the Tren de las Nubes railway line through the Quebrada del Toro. We continue to start the ascent until we reach 4080 metres above sea level. Arrival to San Antonio de los Cobres. We will take a break for lunch, cross Route 40 until we reach the Salinas Grandes salt flats, right on the border between Salta and Jujuy. Then we start the descent through Cuesta de Lipán where condors are usually sighted, arrival to the town of Purmamarca and its Cerro de los Siete Colores (Hill of the Seven Colours). Night in Purmamarca.
Day 6 - Quebrada de Humahuaca - Salta
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure from the city of Purmamarca to start a trip through the Quebrada declared World Heritage Site, where the landscape and the colours of the hills combine with the cultures that inhabit this area. It is a journey of social contact and a view of the ancestral. Pass through the Posta de Hornillos, continuing to the town of Tilcara to visit the Pucará and the Archaeological Museum. Continue to Huacalera, a pass of the Tropic of Capricorn. Visit to the Church of Uquía, where the paintings of the Arcabuceros Angels (from the Cuzqueña school) can be seen. Arrival to Humahuaca with its important Cathedral and the Independence Monument (El Indio). Return after lunch to observe the Paleta del Pintor that frames the village of Maimara. Arrival to San Salvador de Jujuy, to visit the city. Return to Salta. Night in Salta. Accommodation
Day 7 - Salta - Mendoza
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. At appropriate time transfer to the airport to take the flight to the city of Mendoza. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.
Day 8 - Mendoza
Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time we will visit the Foundational Area, the heart of the historical centre of the Old City, the Pedro del Castillo Square and the Museum of the Foundational Area, exactly where the Cabildo of Mendoza was located years ago. We will visit the Plaza Independencia, which is the centre of five squares that make up the urban layout of the city. Then we will go to the Civic Centre, where we will be able to visit the Government House, among other attractions. We will also visit the General San Martin Park, which for more than a century has been one of the most important urban green spaces in Argentina, both for its extension and its proximity to the city. We will finish the tour visiting the ancient and well-known monument of the Cerro de la Gloria. Rest of the day free for personal activities. Accommodation at the hotel.
Day 9 - Mendoza
Breakfast at the hotel. The tour takes us through the central-western oasis of the province, the departments of Maipú and Lujan de Cuyo. We will visit two prestigious wineries where we will be explained the benefits of our terroir, the vinification process and subsequent tasting. At the end of the tour, we will visit an olive oil factory, making an incursion into the "Caminos del Olivo", an activity that also takes place in the province. Return to the hotel and accommodation.
Day 10 - Mendoza - Buenos Aires
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. At appropriate time transfer to the airport to take the flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 11 - Buenos Aires
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for personal activities. We recommend the excursion "Fiesta Gaucha", a unique experience in a traditional Estancia, which treasures a good part of the Argentinean tradition. We invite you to ride on horseback and ride on vintage sulkys. Be amazed by the traditional folkloric dances and the gaucho's skills in a show of Creole dexterity. The tour includes: Transport, Guide, Lunch with drinks and Show. Accommodation.
Day 12 - Buenos Aires
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. At appropriate time transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Note:
FOR SALTA TOURS: According to CNRT regulations. In regular excursions with overnight stay outside Salta (e.g. in Purmamarca, Cafayate, etc.) only one hand luggage per passenger or one suitcase for every two passengers is allowed. In case of carrying one suitcase (23kg) per passenger, an additional charge per passenger must be paid. Please inform us.
